The LipidChek ILCP programme has been designed
for laboratories testing for chemical composition
and properties of Fats & Oils.
Schedule
Proficiency samples in the LipidChek Programme
are despatched on alternate months (refer Timetable). Participants
are given two weeks to analyse samples and return results.

Performance Reporting & Evaluation
Statistical summaries and reports are e-mailed
to participants one week after the due date for results.
Participants receive:
Individualised Reports per round
e-mailed within 3 days of the result due date, provide information
about the data pool of participating laboratories, comparing the
laboratory's test results with those of other participating laboratories
and include:
An individual rating per sample
An assessment of bias for the set of results
An overall rating for the round
A histogram comparing the lab performance for the round
A control chart showing performance year to date
An Annual Report summarising
the performance of the participant by test throughout the year
and a consolidated summary of all ILCP data with technical commentary.
